Last night as the rain pitter pattered against my window, lulling me to sleep with it’s sound, I snuggled deep into the covers and sighed with contentment.
My life has been particularly hectic with back to back travel for work, work on the new house, and the arrival of my in-laws to stay. There have been earthquakes, trees that need to be trimmed, and books waiting to be released. Life has been life and at the heart of it and on a day focused on creating fools out of us, I’m going to be a little foolish, and say life has been good to me. Fingers crossed I don’t wake up tomorrow to discover it’s all a joke.
