Christmas is here and I’m excited to participate in my family’s newest tradition of going out and enjoying the day with an activity versus my mother spending all day cooking (she won’t give up Thanksgiving). This year we’re going to have breakfast and go bowling. It is our second year of breaking out of the mold of tradition and I’m very proud of my parents willingness to try something different. When I think of Christmases past I have memories of love, laughter, and of course presents. For our Christmases of present and future I know we’ll keep the heart of what brings us together regardless of the destination. At least that’s the tagline I’m going to use when trying to convince everyone to go to Hawaii next year. 😉
